SOLAR PANEL MOUNTING SYSTEMS
For Solar Panel efficient conversion efficiency mounting system of solar panel plays a major roll. Mounting system sets solar panel at particular inclination angle so solar radiation falls on panel perpendicularly which increase solar panel efficiency.Mounting systems also vary according to where we require to mount solar panels. There basically two type of solar panel mounting systems in general use which is explained below.
GROUND MOUNTING SYSTEM

Ground mounted photovoltaic system are usually used in large, utility-scale solar power plants. Their solar modules are held in place by racks or frames that are attached to ground based mounting supports.Ground based mounting supports have two types of mounts,Pole mounts and Foundation mounts. Pole mounts, which are driven directly into the ground or embedded in concrete. Foundation mounts, such as concrete slabs or poured footings Ballasted footing mounts, such as concrete or steel bases that use weight to secure the solar module system in position and do not require ground penetration. This type of solar panel mounting systems are well suited for sites where excavation is not possible such as capped landfills and simplifies decommissioning or relocation of solar module systems.
ROOF MOUNTING SYSTEM

Roof-mounted solar power systems consist of solar modules held in place by racks or frames attached to roof-based mounting supports. They mainly used for house application or building integrated solar systems.Roof-based mounting supports have basically two types,Pole mounts and Ballasted footing mounts. Ballasted footing mounts, such as concrete or steel bases that use weight to secure the panel system in position and do not require through penetration. This mounting method allows for decommissioning or relocation of solar panel systems with no adverse effect on the roof structure.
SOLAR TRACKERS

In both of above mounting systems we can use solar trackers to increase the efficiency of solar panel . Solar trackers increase the amount of energy produced per panel at a cost of mechanical complexity and need for high maintenance. They sense the direction of the Sun and tilt the modules as needed for maximum exposure to the light. so, efficiency of panel increases. In active solar trackers there are motors and sensors are used and tracker track sun in expanse of some electrical energy automatically and passive we have to manually change the inclination angle.
